6X: "The Nightshade Council"

Hey there, it's been a while. It's been a busy year and it's nice to slow down for a bit and to get back to drawing, and some of my personal studies. 6X is a little series I've started in my spare time as I reflect on the interconnectedness of our environment, and our marriage with fungi.

Something interesting I came across is a study showing bats can tell two humans apart just from the subtle differences in breathing patterns. It's also pretty cool how the young bat fetus looks eerily human, until of course, the phalanges and metacarpals (finger bones) begin to elongate. They're important pollinators as well, with some plants being completely reliant upon them to spread their seed.
